In 2022, World Interaction Design Day celebrated our fifth anniversary. Below are highlights from those five years — videos along with articles and blog posts from our global community.
In 2022, IxDD returned to our roots — organizing local meetups around the globe — both in person or online. Our theme was Fundamentals + Perspectives. Twenty four events took place in 18 countries.
Our 2021 theme was Solidarity and Transformation. More than 3500 attendees from over 60 countries tuned in to watch sessions from over 30 countries presented in regional live streams.
In 2020, IxDD moved online due to the pandemic. Under the theme of Culture and Sustainability, 40+ hours of live streamed programming included 60+ sessions from over 25 countries for an audience of 16,000+.
Our 2019 theme explored how designers play a central role in navigating issues of Trust and Responsibility in the content we create and consume.
One of the resources produced just in time for IxDD 2019 was the Cookie UI Banner Kit.
How it all got started. Our first World Interaction Design Day brought the community together around the topic of Diversity and Inclusion.
